Industrial Sodium Bicarbonate
is most commonly utilized in formulation of pesticides that are intended to be used for controlling fungal growth on agricultural field. It is also used for increasing total alkalinity of swimming pools, ponds, & spas. This compound has chemical formula NaHCO3 with molecular weight of 84.0066 g/mol and density of 2.20 g/cm3. It is known to have ability to extinguish fire hence is used in BC dry fire extinguishers.
Industrial Sodium Bicarbonate also finds application in pharmaceutical industry for having ability to treat heartburn & acid indigestion. It appears as white colored free-flowing powder with 99% of purity.
